You're not alone

and your dog isn’t “the problem.” Reactivity is a sign that your dog is overwhelmed and trying their best to cope. At Chip’s Promise, we honor that. We show up with patience, predictability, and a judgment‑free approach that helps sensitive dogs feel safe again.

While we don’t offer training right now, we provide thoughtful, individualized care for dogs who are often rejected by other services because of their breed or their history. Every dog deserves a place where they’re understood.

You're not alone, and there's nothing wrong with your dog. Reactive behaviors are a sign that your dog is overwhelmed — not badly behaved. At Chip's Promise, we specialize in meeting reactive dogs exactly where they are. With patience, consistency, and the right approach, these behaviors can improve. You've already taken the most important step by recognizing what your dog is going through.

Drop-ins

30 minutes. Drop-ins are ideal for dogs who prefer the comfort of their own space. We provide quick check-ins for potty breaks, feeding, and enrichment while keeping their world small and predictable.

Walks

30 minutes, one-hour, or ninety minutes available. We choose quiet, low-trigger routes and move at your dog's pace. We never rush -- because the walk isn't about distance, it's about keeping your dog's bucket from overflowing.

Hourly Pet Sitting

Hourly sessions for dogs who need daytime support but not a full walk. We provide enrichment, basic care, and a calming presence for reactive dogs who benefit from having someone nearby.

What other dog parents are saying

Jessica is an amazing pet caretaker. She is dependable, attentive,

and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. She takes

the time to understand each pet's routine and personality and

treats them like her own. I always feel completely at ease knowing

my pet is in her care. She's great with communication and goes

above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and

loved. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a reliable

and caring pet sitter.

Allison, Atlanta

My experience with Jessica has always been very delightful and a

relief to know my dog, Sheba, is in good hands. She genuinely

cares for animals and I can see the love in the way she treats

Sheba. I highly recommend Jessica. She's a diamond in the rough!

Calvin, Atlanta

“Slow and predictable is exactly what my dog needs. Jessica truly sees who he is, not just his behavior on a bad day.”

We’re getting ready to add a few more ways to make life easier for you and your dog.

Pet Transportation

Safe, secured rides to the vet, groomer, or anywhere your dog needs to go.

Private Park Play

Fully enclosed, rented private park time so your dog can relax and play without other dogs around.

The Promise

Chip was a pretty balanced dog. But after a shock collar was used incorrectly, he developed fear-based reactivity that completely changed him. I had to rebuild the trust I lost by using the wrong tool with him.

Chip's Promise exists because I promised him that it would be okay. I promised that his death would not be in vain. So now I am dedicating my life to not only help dogs like him get the care they deserve, but also give the owners who need it the help they need too.
